Turns out the Bible paints a pretty vivid picture of why working hard is important in very practical ways too.
We live in a culture that is all about finding life hacks, short cuts, and doing whatever feels right.
We live in a culture that likes to talk about “your truth” vs “my truth.”
Depression is at an all time high. I wonder if more time spent with THE truth would give us some very logical, very practical answers to that problem.

Proverbs 6:6-11 – “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in the summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest – and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.”
